Our karate training sessions are available for different age groups and skill levels. Our children's groups start from the age of 5. We also offer several special groups:
The training times for each group are as follows:
You can find the exact times and any changes in the Timetable menu.
To join the sports club, first come to two trial training sessions, which are free of charge and without any obligation. After that, if you decide you would like to participate in the training sessions, Szilvia Kiss, the club's administrator, will help you with membership, registration, and other administrative tasks.
Comfortable sportswear is sufficient for the first few training sessions, but if you want to attend regularly, we recommend that you purchase a karate uniform (gi). During training, you may gradually need protective equipment such as gloves, shin guards, and groin guards. The club provides body shields and headgear for its members. Additional equipment can be purchased from Bódi Sport.
You can find the exact fees in the Fees menu. The monthly membership fee includes all regular training sessions. In addition, there may be separate fees for competitions and training camps.
This association is for those who are serious about the spirit of karate and are committed to developing their body and soul – as the first oath of the dojo kun says: "We will train our body and soul unwaveringly." Many of our members have already achieved success in various competitions, so the opportunity to compete is open to anyone who is genuinely interested and willing to work for it. Those who wish to compete can count on the help of our coaches in preparing for and entering competitions.
Karate exams are held once a year, after participation in the training camp. Successful examinees can obtain a higher rank (belt), and coaches help them prepare for the exam.
Children learn movements and basic principles in a playful way. Karate develops children's physical fitness and coordination, and teaches discipline and self-control. Regular training increases self-confidence and helps manage stress.
No, our training sessions are open to everyone, regardless of whether you are a beginner or already have karate experience. The groups are tailored to individual levels, so anyone can find the training that suits them best.
Yes, our coaches also offer private lessons, which can be taken individually or in small groups. We recommend these private lessons to those who want to improve in a specific area or focus on a particular technical element.
